After reading the book, my first reaction was, “Wow!” It reads like an autobiography peeking into the lives of so many women trying to find peace in the midst of a dysfunctional relationship. I rode the rollercoaster ride of highs and lows the lead character experienced in her pursuit of love and happiness along with the agonizing sorrow of a dream turning into a nightmare.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book for in it lies a cautionary tale of how the heart can look beyond warning signs and lead you down the road to destruction and how it takes courage to rebuild mentally, physically and spiritually.
