1- Hello Jose, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Hi, I am happy to be here.
I’m a Virtual Summit Producer who has been involved in running, consulting and providing services for successful virtual summits for several years.
2- What are your focus areas and why?
I focus on virtual summits because there’s no better way to accelerate the growth of your audience, establish yourself as an influencer in your field, and create a product your customers will love than by hosting your own virtual summit.
3- How do you describe your journey in few words?
I tried every online business model out there. I tried for years to make it happen and nothing was giving me the success I was looking for. That’s until I discovered Virtual Summits. Then everything changed.
I was able to grow my business and become an influencer in my niche, a niche I was brand new at.
4- Where do you think you are making an impact?
I think that now more than ever most entrepreneurs, brands and business owners understand that, to compete in a 2017 landscape they need to become influencers. Because influence equals attention and attention, gives you the opportunity to engage with your audience and offer them your products and services. I think there’s no better, more effective and faster way to become an influencer in your market than to produce a virtual summit. And I help entrepreneurs to do that.
5- Can you tell us about “Virtual Summit Lab”?
Yes, at Virtual Summit Lab our goal is to take off the hat of teachers and become practitioners. We try and test tools, strategies and techniques in our summits and report the results. People get to learn the good the bad and the ugly.
6- What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while working to found it?
The biggest challenge is the mental block and limiting beliefs I had put on myself, for no reason.
7- Where do you see the summit in the next 5 years?
I think summits are going thru a major transformation. They used to be 80 plus speakers and interviews thrown together. It was quantity over quality, just for the sake of being able to say, “hey look our event is the biggest”. Now the market has evolved and people know that those events lack the depth and the quality of their content. They are seen as events where the host has made the decision to look out for their interests first rather than doing the due diligence to create good content for the audience.
8- What can you tell young people who are pursuing their dreams?
Go for them, but be practical, focus and test assumptions.
9- What are you most excited about at the moment?
I’m excited to share massive opportunity that exists with virtual summits. I’ve seen their potential and seen it several different markets.
9- The last word or final thoughts?
If you’re looking to do a virtual summit, just start putting the work in and try to build a relationship with an expert in your market.
