1- Hello Charlene, can you please tell us a bit about you?
Thank you so much for this interview and opportunity!
A little bit about myself in brief. I am a mother of two beautiful children. I am a pharmacy graduate, with over a two decades of industry experience. I have had the privilege to work with some of the best top celebrities in Hollywood. I let my energy and work ethic speak for itself with each encounter at a time. Building a brand takes hard work, but I am up for the challenge. As a model and actress, I developed behind the scenes. Before I was ever in front of any camera, my joy came from behind it. I am so excited about the future!

2- What are your focus areas and why?
My focus areas constantly changing, the needs of my clients vary and as a result, I stay educated in every area from communication to financial investments my concentration is limitless.

3- Where do you think your work is making an impact?
I think that my work is making an impact everywhere.

4- Can you tell us about  “Chars Couture & Events”?
Chars Couture & Events is an innovative brand that provides video media, photography, and fashion/marketing entertainment on a national level. We offer various packages to take care of the most basic needs to create the best lasting memory. There are some things that money cannot buy, we help develop, enhance, and bring those occasions to life!

5- What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while working to launch it?
While trying to launch Chars Couture & Events some of my biggest challenges were trying to decide the best location, Balance an existing budget, and inquire the right business partners. I originally launched Chars Couture in 2008, after 10 years we are offering not only fashion and consulting; but also events!

6- What the word “etiquette” means to you?
Etiquette to me is the way that we carry or present ourselves whether someone is looking or not.
The way we enter a room, greet a stranger, even dress is apart of etiquette. Some forms are learned others are just character related.

7- Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
In the next 5 years, I see myself introducing my brand to the world!
Not only fashion but art in all forms! This interview is just a glimpse of what is to come.
I am an artist, creating, and recreating is a joy that will never get old. I have high hopes for what is unfolding.

8- What can you tell young women who are pursuing their dreams?
Stay consistent! Learn new ways to enhance your image and brand. When I first started out I did not know a lot of basic information about entertainment or marketing. I took the necessary courses to shape what I was pursuing at the time. I wanted to be a professional model, so I attended a casting to become a candidate as a student of the art. After being accepted in Barbizon modeling school, I graduated knowing the basic fundamentals of being a teenage model. Anything worth having requires an investment of time and money.
