1- Hello Michael, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
I grew up in Honolulu, HI where i completed a degree in Business Management from the Shidler School of Business at the University of Hawaii. I then moved to Krakow to pursue a degree in European Studies at Jagiellonian University, where i met my wife and decided to settle down.
2- What are your focus areas and why?
Definitely marketing is a focus of mine, and the many different forms it can take. As a bartender, jobsite supervisor, retail manager, and B2B sales manager, my work experience has always been rooted in interactions with people. This experience has definitely helped me in this field.
3- How do you describe your journey in few words?
My journey has been one that has taken many paths, and has never been completely clear. I have traveled and lived all over the world, worked in many diverse fields, and pursued an education in different topics. Everything has been for a purpose, however, and it has all culminated in creating my digital marketing agency in Krakow, Poland.
4- Can you tell us about Husaria Marketing?
Husaria Marketing is a bespoke digital marketing agency that i founded in 2017 in Krakow, Poland. We offer tailored packages that are designed to meet the needs and budget of each individual client. We’re a full service digital marketing agency, offering services such as SEO, search engine marketing, social media marketing and content marketing services, alongside B2B and B2C sales consulting services.
5- Where do you think you are making an impact?
Our strongest impact is in our ongoing promotion, where we offer to do your first digital marketing project for free. Whether you need some content written, translations made, or have some questions about how to best approach digital marketing for yourself, we’re here to help. By offering free, no obligation assistance, we are demonstrating our competence and letting both us and the client determine if there is potential for a future partnership.
6- Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I see myself continuing to travel and continuing to be engaged in my passion of delivering great content and service to my clients. Husaria Marketing is an agency with a global reach, so we expect to have a wide ranging clientele.
7- What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while working on Husaria Marketing?
Taking the initial plunge and starting my own agency. I left a high-paying job with exceptional benefits and a wide range of freedom. The risks were huge, but without risk there is no reward, and our ongoing success reinforces every day that it was the right choice.
8- What can you tell young people who are pursuing their dreams?
If they were easy to obtain, they wouldn’t be dreams. If you have a dream, then go for it. It’s supposed to be scary and uncertain in the beginning. If you’re truly passionate about what you do, it will come true if you work for it.
9- What are you most excited about at the moment?
Growth. Our first clients are very diverse, from small family start-ups to commercial network hardware developers and established manufacturing firms. It’s exciting to learn about new fields and meet other people who are also passionate about what they do, and it’s a great feeling helping others reach for their dreams.
10- The last word or final thoughts?
There’s a wide world out there, filled with countless challenges and experiences. These shape us and turn us into the people we are. Don’t be afraid to try something new, and work with others to reach your goals.
