2- What are your focus areas and why?

My photography is focused on nature and events. I find events a bit challenging and this is what makes my career interesting as you are required to carefully capture moments in an environment that is quite chaotic. I thrive here and I love it. On travel photography, this gives me the satisfaction of visiting different places across the world to also appreciate the greatness of nature.

3- How do you describe your journey in few words?

Like many professionals out there who are pursuing entrepreneurship, I have encountered many ups and downs, but this has only been a positive effect to my career. At first getting people to trust my skills was not easy and I had to do a lot of free work before I built my portfolio. I must say it takes patience and persistence to become a successful brand.

4- Where do you think you are making an impact?

I feel I am making an impact in enhancing the spirit for entrepreneurship among women. Not many women believe they possess the perfect skills to go out there and walk alone in the challenging journey of entrepreneurship, but with the effort, I have put into this, I feel I am making an impact by encouraging those around me to muster courage and implement the ideas they have.

5- Can you tell us about “Noelle Neff Photography”?

Noelle Neff Photography is my personal brand and as someone who is passionate about photography, I decided to capitalize in the field to eke a living off my skills. This is my business and I have built a client list over time since I launched. The idea came after one of my friends realized I was doing many photos and people were starting to call me to their events for paid work, and he advised me to make it a business, so just like that it was born.

6- What are the biggest challenges you encountered while working to found it?

Getting the necessary equipment to complement the demand for professional work was a huge blow on my side. But with time my savings were enough to get some few items.

7- Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

In five years I want to expand my brand to not only have the little coverage it does but to also cross borders and possibly I should have offices in various other locations.

8- What can you tell young photographers who are pursuing their dreams?

I advise them to press on even in the face of difficulties. They should also consider getting a mentor who will help oversee their growth and guide them on different aspects of photography.

9- What are you most excited about at the moment?

It excites me to see how women have defied odds and risen to take up positions as entrepreneurs. When it comes to business, I am of the opinion that women have a lot to offer and I have worked with many amazing women who are doing it perfectly.

10- The last word or final thought?

I would like to encourage all who are out there pursuing their dreams to press on. It is also a great honor to have this time with you as I was also able to share with women across the world to show them that everything is possible if they do it with high spirit.
