1- Hello Robert, can you please tell us a bit about you?
I’m like cheesecake. You can have a slice, but if you eat the whole cake you’ll get sick. I always carry a notebook with me. I constantly write down ideas for television shows, movies, songs, and how to rule the world. It’s really hard to tear me away from creating.

2- What influences your work? What makes you want to wake up every morning?
Everything and everyone influences my work. What world do I get to create today? That’s what wakes me up every morning. Unless it’s Wednesday, then it’s the man with the leaf blower at my window.

3- In terms of Film Making, what are your focus areas and why?
I started making films as a way to create my own projects to act in. My focus areas are bringing stories to people that expand the way we think. I love breaking stereotypes, and I want to keep on doing that because it’s more interesting for humanity. I am the spokesperson for humans.

4- Can you tell us more about your last project?
My last project was a horror film. It’s called ‘Single AF’. It’s kinda like ‘Traffic’ in that everyone is connected in some way and it’s centered around a dating app. I incorporated the seven deadly sins and I wove them up like a deadly warm blanket.

5- Where do you think you are making an impact?
I have received messages from people that watched ‘Butterflies’ and told me how much it moved them to come out of the closet to their parents and friends. You never really think about that while you’re playing a role, and it really makes you feel wonderful knowing that you could impact someone’s life in a beautiful way.

6- What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while working on your last project?
The biggest challenges I’ve encountered working on my projects is that whenever I finish shooting, I already miss everyone I worked with. I call it Summer Camp Syndrome and the only cure is to keep yourself busy.

7- Where do see yourself in the next 5 years?
Famous, Dead, or in Jail. Next question.

8- What can you tell young actors who are pursuing their dreams?
Read Dr. Seuss. Those books can give better advice than I can and they rhyme which is always cool.

9- What are you most excited about at the moment?
Right now I am really excited for a comedy series that I wrote called ‘I Luv Everyone and Everything’. Besides that, I have so many things I want to make that I feel like I am going to explode. I feel like it could be the Big Bang Theory of creativity. Did I mention that I was modest?

10- The last word or final thoughts?
Shine like the light you are, and surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Laughter is the greatest sound you will ever hear besides the sound of the ATM machine spitting out the Benjamins.
