1- Hello Emmanuel, can you please tell us a bit about you?

I am Emmanuel Okoye, a quiet, curious individual who believes that all questions should not be left unanswered and life is not about struggling/fighting; it’s all about the code. Life is about getting things done no matter how difficult the situation presents itself. Everything becomes easy once deciphered.

2- What are your focus areas and why?

My focus areas include the following: Software Programming: In the nearest future, Software Programming would solve literally most of the world’s problems. Secondly, Data Management. A price tag can’t be placed on data as it is becoming more expensive by the day. The wise option is to manage efficiently the available data. Finally, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigation. Cybersecurity is an issue of global importance and cannot be neglected. Most countries such as U.S.A, Russia etc., have advanced technologically to secure data in their systems as well as investigate the source of cybercrimes when they occur yet they still see it as a huge threat. Nigeria is yet to advance fully in this area and the speed at which e-solutions are evolving demand immediate attention to this.

3- How do you describe “Gentzy Code Projects” in a few words?

Gentzy Code Projects (GCP) is the company that ceaselessly uncovers the opportunities for growth and innovations by building cutting-edge applications that redefine emerging market trends and create new opportunities. GCP is a leader in ICT solutions.

4- Where do you think your work is making an impact?

The impact has a positive effect within and around GCP. Individuals with little or no education, have been motivated to have a stand-in ICT, creating the consciousness that ICT can take one to unimaginable heights no matter the background and with it, everything is achievable.

Some state governments have their Internally Generated Revenue system improved through software packages designed by GCP thereby reducing loss to almost zero.

Globally, applications are deployed to solve various ICT needs irrespective of location. People earn a living through GCP inspired packages without knowing the company.

5- How did you build up an Entrepreneurial spirit, do you believe you were born with it or you developed it?

It has always been in me.

6- Tell us about your style?

My style is unusual because I am not driven by money or solely interested in it but believe strongly in acquiring the right knowledge as I can never get broke with knowledge.

7- Do you think your mindset has anything to do with success?

Yes. Although the God-factor is undisputed, I think it’s my duty to work hard to attain great heights. There is time to pray, play, sleep, eat and time to work hard.

8- If you could turn the time, what would you love to do to regards to changing Gentzy Code Projects?

Just the timing. I wish I started earlier than I did.

9- What are you most excited about at the moment?

I haven’t stopped learning. I have been able to prove to the youths that one can be very good at ICT and successful without engaging in fraudulent activities. To the elderly, age is never a barrier to surviving with ICT.

10- The last word or final thoughts?

The world is yet to tap the potentials of ICT fully. Get involved the right way. My guide has always been the words of Steve Jobs: “You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new.” This means you need to think ahead. There is no limit to what you can achieve with technology. To make this exciting, location can never prevent you from achieving great feats in ICT.

You can always be better than you are today.

Never stop learning.
