1- Hello Jf, can you please tell us a bit about you?

I’m a Travel Photographer & Serial Entrepreneur from Montreal Canada. The author of 2 books, “Exchange Your Life” and “Become Your Best Version” and an advisor of small companies. I traveled to 40+ & lived in 5 Countries. I participated in an exchange program abroad in Milano and another one in Paris. Since 2011, I have helped 15,000+ exchange students to travel through InterStude, a Bus Tour Operator. I have created one of the biggest exchange students party, the Rep Your Flag Festival. Currently, I’m focusing on my spiritual enlightenment in trying all kinds of immersive experiences.

4- Where do you think your work is making an impact?

I’m making an impact where it counts, and that is education. The best way to learn is on the field through immersive experiences. While focusing on a niche market that I know deeply and I’m passionate about because it was at that time that I turn my life around.

5- Do you find as an expert, that you enjoy the challenges of the industry is being complex and with the game rules are always changing?

I believe you are your only competition. Don’t focus on what’s going on in your industry but focus on always becoming the best version of yourself by acquiring new skills and immersive experiences; work from the heart and follow YOUR vision.

6- What does the word “Empowering” really mean to you?

Empowering means for me inspiring, supporting, advising, being present, being an example, loving and being compassionate.

7- Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

I’m teaching 19-24-year-olds coming from around the world to Montreal at our Entrepreneurial school in our extraordinary well design campus for future game changers. A 3-year program with deep human interaction, accountability 1-on-1 coaching and uncomfortable experiences, satisfying the 7 life dimensions starting with 12 months on Life Mastery skills to set the foundation for each student to be well equipped to tackle an entrepreneurial project of a grand scale impact.

8- What can you tell young entrepreneurs who are pursuing their dreams?

Stop searching out there to satisfy your needs, but rather start the journey of exploration within eliminating all cravings and aversions toward reaching inner peace.

9- What are you most excited about at the moment?

For my personal life, I want to live more and have more deep human connections through immersion experiences, reach an advanced level at Salsa, push the spiritual journey to the next level with specialists and through a 14-days dark room retreat and a 1 month monk life in a monastery in India, and finally explore new hobbies like playing the Ukulele.

For my professional life, I want to keep it as simple as possible while i’m working on getting my second book published “Become Your Best Version” after my third book “Be The Experience” with no expected outcome while trying to be the best that I can.

10- The last word or final thoughts?

Here’s my best advice for the next generation, go and build your own community where you can bond with other people on a topic you are passionate about. Create a free Facebook event or a monthly Meetup and don’t give up. At the beginning, one or two people will show up. Slowly, you’ll learn how to improve it and you’ll learn about your communities’ needs on top of building many skills. Who knows, maybe one day it can become a nonprofit, a business or just a place where you feel deeply at home meeting your best friends, and your second family. Building your community is the best way to satisfy all your life dimensions while constantly growing to the next best version of yourself.
