1- What in your life inspired you to start your own company?

I was inspired to start my own company when I realized that I could combine my love for fitness and nutrition, with my life mission to better the world through self-improvement. I wanted to promote self-improvement on a physical, mental, and spiritual journey and inspire growth through healthy lifestyle practices. I now serve as my own boss, where I get to work for hands on with my clients each and every day in our efforts to become stronger versions of the person we started as no matter what our obstacles may be.

2- How do you describe yourself as a personal trainer in a few words?

I see myself to be an energetic and upbeat coach who is constantly looking for new and creative ways to inspire my clients. This energy is one I try to carry at all times. I believe all things are possible with the right attitude which is why it is so important for me to lead by example. Some clients might claim that I am stern, but that is because I am passionate about reaching the goals we set out to accomplish together and that is something I don’t take lightly.

3- What are your focus areas and why?

It might be more appropriate for my title to be labelled as Wellness Coach. A large part of my focus is driven by physical training and strengthening. However, I am a firm believer that finding true balance can and will result in the best results. With that, I think it is important to train and strengthen ourselves in all areas. We focus on mental and spiritual growth as a way to help

4- How do you think creative companies like yours are changing the future of the health and fitness industry?

Perspective is important. I’ve seen people bounce from one exercise regimen to another over and over again because of this simple reality: people get bored. And many times after people can’t find something that works for them, they give up on exercise altogether, which negatively affects our industry. By having a creative company like mine, I’m getting to bring excitement to people through exercise over and over again in one place which allows them to want to come back. They continue to invest in the fitness industry as well as their own personal health.

5- How did you build up an entrepreneurial spirit, do you believe you were born with it or you developed it?

A little bit of both, but more developed in the long run. I always tell people who ask that it is vital to continue to monitor your progress along your career path. But at the same time, strive to grow regardless of what it takes to get to your dream.

6- Are there any interesting projects you’d like to share with our readers?

I am always looking for innovative ideas on how to adopt different processes that run parallel with what we represent. I’m currently in the process of studying a few new interpretations of a current exercise methodology I use with my clients.

7- If you could turn the clock, what one thing would you love to change about your career?

Fortunately, not a thing. I believe that everything we go through in life is a growth opportunity. I grew from a lot of different experiences in my career, and I am thankful for every one of them. They are what got me to where I am today.

8- Can you share with us one of your daily challenges, that you feel will inspire new entrepreneurs?

A daily challenge for me is to avoid burn-out. As both a wellness coach and entrepreneur, I put all of my energy into my business and motivating my clients, and I sometimes forget to save energy for myself. Balancing personal life with professional life is key to not losing motivation for what I do.

9- Do you find as an expert, that you enjoy the challenge of the industry being complex where the game rules are always changing?

Yes. Just like in exercise, challenges are fun. Challenges with tangible solutions are even better. The industry is always changing, and that’s a good thing. With growth comes challenges, and the more challenges experts overcome in their industry, the longer that industry with withstand in the market.

10- Any final thoughts?

For anyone reading who has struggled with exercise or even entrepreneurship, don’t give up. You can’t fail if you don’t stop trying. Creativity is all around and can be your best friend at times of hardship.
