1- Hello, Harold can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
I’m the proud co-owner of Breath of Life Training LLC. I currently own my business with my wonderful wife Stephanie. We’ve been married 8 years and we have 9 children, 6 boys and 3 girls. I’m from Augusta, Ga and I graduated from Richmond Academy right here in Augusta. Never would’ve thought I’d own my own business.

2- What are your focus areas and why?
My main focus areas are helping others and providing a great experience and service, as well as being a blessing to my community, my supporters, my city or to anyone that I can be of service to.  I think it’s necessary to be a great service and if anybody ? Why not me?  Why not Breath of Life Training?

4- Where do you think you are making an impact?
By helping getting medical professionals employed and trained with the services that we offer here at Breath of Life Training. We offer a variety of Allied Health classes from our State approved Nurse Aide program or with our Nationally Accredited courses. Some of these classes are CNA ,Phlebotomy, Clinical Medical Assistant or our brand new Dental Tech and Surgical Tech certifications. During this interview Pharmacy Tech was added to our list of programs. CPR and First Aid daily. We offer Fire Safety, Live scan Cogent fingerprint, TB testing, 6 panel employment drug screens. We also have a 24 hour notary service. We currently have 3 different job board groups on Facebook. We try to provide the services for the ever growing medical profession. We are a one stop shop!

5- What are some things that most people don’t know about your job?
Here at Breath of Life I never quit working,  my team never quits working, grinding out the last sec. Helping and encouraging and being a service.  Always thinking of new ways to grow.

6- Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I see myself as a leader in my community,  I see our school as a leader in Allied Health training.  I see myself as having the go to business and a household name, and not only in the C.S.R.A. I want Breath of Life o be BIG!!! When you interview me again in 5 years I want to be able to tell you I told you I wanted big and now we’re big at Breath of Life!

7- What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while working on “Breath of Life Training”?
The biggest challenge I had was budgeting the finances.  As a young co owner,  your motivation is your success,  but what about those days when the phone don’t ring,  or if you don’t make any money that day.  Or nobody wanted your help. The challenge is still having faith and discipline in our product and services and definitely in our brand. So managing finances when business was slow I’d say was the hardest challenge.

8- What can you tell to young people and companies about the importance of medical training?
I have two things to say to the younger generation about medical training. I would tell them that medical training and the profession is always expanding so always keep up with your certifications because you make yourself readily available for employment.
The second thing is it’s never too early to learn how to save a life learn CPR.
To the companies making sure that their employees are properly trained and certified and to have a staff that is dedicated and has that passion for helping others.

9- What are you most excited about at the moment?
New classes have me excited, becoming a new member of the (Columbia County) CHAMBER OF COMMERCE , to having a upcoming job fair in the spring and knowing Breath of life doesn’t have A ceiling is one of the best feelings in the world and knowing that we are providing a quality education and having the best staff doing their part. Here at Breath of Life Training we’re making a conscious effort and trend of helping others.
