1. Hello Reto, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Sure, My Name is Reto I am 32 years old, born in Switzerland living currently in Spain. I started my career in constructions, went on to customer support before i decided to leave Switzerland and started my journey together with my girlfriend to see the world. I love creating and coaching web services and businesses all over the world. I am a workaholic and totally addicted to daily improvement.

2. What are your focus areas and why?
My focus lays on small to middles size businesses that are searching for their place in the world of commerce and services. The portfolio goes from improving their onsite customer experience to their corporate brand image and beyond.

3. How do you describe your “ecoachingz” in few words?
I keep things simple. I do not like to make this process a very complicated one. A lot of coaching services work with affiliated systems and call up-selling an improvement. I prefer an honest feedback and keep things low budget. To make a business better does not always mean to spend thousands of dollars. I give to my “students” an unfiltered knowledge of my experiences in 10 years of e-commerce and services. Sometimes things need to be kept simple. A straight forward feedback is a good start and a good step to begin improving.

4. Where do you think you are making an impact?
I think it has mostly to do with what I said before, honest, simple feedbacks as a start and low budget solutions that are not connected to affiliated systems just to make my wallet grow quickly. I like to help people, I like to make them grow while I support them and their own skills. We all have a small entrepreneur in ourselves, sometimes we just need someone to open that door and that’s exactly what I try to do. Improving by pushing the personal skills and helping on a long term base.

5. What are some things that most people don’t know about your journey?
Well, it has been hard. There was a time I started doubting myself and my capacities but ist part of the game. One can only believe in himself if he saw himself handling difficult situations. Without them, I wouldn’t be who I am now so they are part of my personal improvement, which makes them a good lesson in a long coaching of life to myself.

6. The Coaching industry is very changing, where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I can’t say. The coaching industry goes weird ways. I sure know how to adapt but there is some very very smart people/companies out there making it more and more simple for people to improve by themselves which is great. I don’t wanna slow down this evolution of self-improving but will watch how it goes. A personal talk has still its good sides. As a coach, you have the possibility to go into people’s character and see most probably better their best chances to have success and support them.

7. What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while starting “Ecoachingz”?
Since I did that with no expectations I was extremely surprised how smooth everything went. From finding clients to build my site and the audience it was very very luckily a smooth process with not much difficulties. Maybe my addiction of perfection makes things always a bit difficult, but that’s for all decisions in my life.

8. What are you most excited about at the moment?
The contact to all those different characters. I love to see them grow and improving. It’s the most precious thing in business I think and a part that most big companies forget. By helping and supporting to improve your clients or workers, you get better yourself and grow faster. It’s beautiful to see others having success and see your “students” using the things we’ve learned together.

9. What can you tell to young people who are pursuing their dreams?
Keep your head up. Things have gotten more difficult and sometimes it’s a small gap between success and total failure. Don’t take it personally, it’s just another level of your self-improvement. A lot of people try to make you think you can only do this or that. From all my heart, it is not true, you can do and achieve anything you want by believing in it and fail while trying on your way to success.

10. The last Word or final thoughts?
It was nice to have the chance to do this interview, thank you so much!
