1- Hello Rob, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Hi, I’m a whole lot of things, actually. I used to box for Texas as an Amateur, I’m into music and basically anything I can get my hands on! Legal, however.
I also have a doctorate in Physics, Specialty is Nuclear Sciences. I graduated in GA, USA. And I love to teach.
2- What are your focus areas and why?
We can just mould that all into one thing really and that would be my family. My fiancé and my son are basically the centres of my own tiny universe and from there I grab both my inspiration for athletic, or creative endeavours.
3- How do you describe “Empire Boxing” in few words?
A fitness gym that caters to all without prejudice.
4- Where do you think you are making an impact?
We focus on other things aside from just stiff business! Our company has been known to have myriad advocacies, as well as volunteer drive for calamities and such. Every franchise partner we have is socially responsible. And we don’t declare all this on our tax books! I think everyone in any industry should wake up and be socially responsible. Thinking for others -that’s for the most part.
5- What are some things that most people don’t know about your job as a Coach?
That I have a deep love for teaching kids!
6- The Sports and Fitness market is very changing, where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
All I can say is one thing: Evolving. That’s for sure. We can’t stay static in this business. We have to find novel ways to care for our clientele.
7- What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while working on Empire Boxing?
Really? If you love what you do then essentially nothing is difficult. You will always find ways to resolve challenges and that’s where it gets fun.
8- What can you tell people who want to get a better life?
Find your path to fitness, whatever it may be.
9- What are you most excited about at the moment?
Tomorrow. Later. A second from now -the future excites me.
10- The last word or final thoughts?
Thank you so much for featuring me on your awesome blog. It’s truly an honour to have my messages of peace, positivity and love -and fitness to get places.
