1- Hello Saul, can you tell us a bit about yourself
I have 5 Amazing kids, the most supporting wife, I love endurance sports and I am always challenging myself to the reach next level. I can speak and understand many languages, have traveled around the world to places most people couldn’t pronounce and have experienced more in my life than I ever thought was possible.

OMEALS are self-heating fully cooked food options using the most wholesome ingredients to offer the best tasting meals that are ready in minutes. OMEALS is perfect for outdoor activities or in emergency situations due to its long shelf life.

3- What are your focus areas and why?
Our initial focus is the outdoor industry but it is being marketed to anyone who would like a hot delicious meal when cooking is not an option. I believe the true value of this brand is that we offer an extremely convenient, portable, affordable, nutritional, self-heating food option. Educating consumers about our innovative products and distinguishing them from others that are currently on the market is another area of focus so that people will want to buy OMEALS.

4- Where do you think you are making an impact?
Our products are the best option when traditional food supply is not available or its access is limited. By offering great tasting, fully cooked, self-heating, affordable meals with portability, we are making a big impact.

5- What are some things that most people don’t know about your job?
That I am not working alone and what I am doing requires a lot of teamwork. OMEALS is a small staff of passionate people who have given their full commitment and sacrificed things in the process because they, like me, believe in our brand.

6- The Food industry is very changing, where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
In the next 5 years, we see OMEALS as having a place in every outdoor activity and as common in every car trunk as a spare tire. While it is intended to be enjoyed by the outdoorsmen, it is perfect for on the go and emergency use as well.

7- What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while working on “Omeals”?
Crossing over from the Institutional market of MRES with our brand XMRE to the retail with OMEALS was a big challenge. Different type of consumers, different selling cycles, educating consumers with new concepts is very challenging.

8- What are you most excited about at the moment?
The consumer and industry response has been overwhelming. People are curious and amazed at how great the food tastes and how easy a meal is to prepare. They want to know more and they want to taste more. They are always coming back for more.

9- What can you tell to young Entrepreneurs that are about to start?
Build strength and resilience with commitment and hard work. Do more every day and be a team player. Push yourself beyond what you think is possible and you will find a way to make it happen.

At the end everything is going to be alright and if it is not alright then it is not the end. Keep going.
