Interview With Senior Social Media Strategist, CEO, and Owner of QuickStepTraffic &, Amina Bibi Rumjon

1- Hello Amina, can you please tell us a bit about you?

Hi, I am Amina, a Mumpreneur for the last 16 years, juggling 5 kids and a few online businesses. I started my online journey listing a few items on eBay Uk and then started creating my own products and then proceeded to import fashion products to sell on my own website back in 2003 when I was pregnant for my 4th child.  Since then, I have expanded in several niches and my businesses flourished and grew.

2- What are your focus areas and why?

At present my main focus is on my social media strategies as I believe this is the foundation of a successful campaign for any business.  Without a well planned and written strategy it is becoming increasingly difficult for a business to have great engagements without really good content to showcase what they have to offer. 

3- How would you describe “QuickStepTraffic” in a few words?

QuickStepTraffic is an Agency helping businesses with traffic to their websites with simple steps.  We also offer a budget package to suit every business needs.

4- Where do you think it is really making an impact?

The impact is really in getting free traffic through social media platforms. Why spend big bucks when we can generate clicks and likes via channels where people are already hanging out!

5- Do you think integrity is an essential part of the social media game?

Absolutely! We lead by example, our audience is reflected by testimonials and appreciation of our services and so do our clients, the snowball effects of a true picture that we portray are amazing.

6- What advice would you give to young people just starting out and hoping to make it?

Be Consistent, as simple as touch your business every single day. Even while on holiday I give a mere 15 minutes to my business in the morning to make sure everything is smoothly running.  Secondly, baby steps lead to a long way. Even if you feel you are making little progress, in the beginning, carry on…consistently make efforts.

7- Do you find as an entrepreneur, that you enjoy the challenge of the industry being complex with the game rules are always changing?

Yes indeed with Facebook and Instagram always changing the game, algorithm change, as Social Media Managers, We have to keep up and bring up smarter strategies to get the best engagements for our clients.

8- If you could turn the time, what would you love to change in regards to your career?

The only regret I have is that when my 5th child was born, I abandoned one of my website instead of selling it. It was a website ranking on top of google with a hot niche. I was driven by emotions of having a second daughter and wanted to give her all my time. Therefore if I could turn the time, I would have sold the business, and my advice to others is never let business be neglected until it dies a slow death. Shift it to someone who can benefit.

9- What are you most excited about at the moment?

At the moment, I am totally focused on Quarter 4 for my own businesses and for that of my Clients. Quarter 4 is huge in terms of revenues and we need to be ready and focused to fully optimize all our online presence.
