1- Hello Sunandini, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Hello, thanks for doing this interview with me today! I am 28 years old and I am the sole founder of Amrev Media located in Mississauga, Ontario. I decided to take the plunge from corporate to entrepreneurship just over a year ago, and it’s been an absolutely fun roller coaster ride.

2- What are your business focus areas and why?
We focus on web design, e-commerce, branding and app development. We love how innovative these realms are and we have seen so many businesses grow as a result of our services.

3- How do you describe “Amrev Media” in few words?
Amrev Media is revolutionizing business. We are a one stop shop for any business offering services from web design, multi media, software, app development to operations. My vision was to have a team that can do it all so our clients never have to go anywhere else for their marketing, design or branding needs. Specially with the implementation of apps into businesses, it’s been a very fun ride.

4- Where do you think you are making an impact?
We are making an impact in the business world by helping businesses take their vision to the next level by using the support of technological innovation. As a woman, I feel my impact is so much deeper than what it does in the business world. I meet people everyday who are so kind, passionate and motivated, that it motivates me to make my imprint a deeper one than I anticipated. I am able to connect with people of so many different journeys and walks of life which helps me see the importance of staying in alignment with your purpose.

5- What are some things that most people don’t know about your job?
Most people don’t know that there is no such thing as time off. If I’m not with a client, I’m out meeting new potential clients, or I’m at my desk working. I don’t think people know how much goes into each task we take, but we love it!

6- The Marketing & Advertising world is very changing, where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I feel marketing and technology will always be a requirement for businesses, we just hope to continue at the pace that the world is. We’re expanding into the broadcasting world as well, so we’re excited to see where we will be in 5 years.

7- What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered while working on “Amrev Media”?
Instability of course, you have to be constantly self driven, motivated, and unconditionally want to achieve your goals. Disappointment is something I never dealt well with, so I have learned to become detached to the how process of a deal, just focused on the end result. I am blessed to do what I love, so no complaints. With that said, there have been a lot of tears and moments of questioning hope, but that’s part of the fun. So much growth happens in the down moments, you have to be prepared for that as an entrepreneur. I’ve never lost focus on the success I desire for Amrev Media.

8- What can you tell to young people who are pursuing their dreams to have a business?
DO IT!!! Having your own business is freeing if you are cut out for it. It gave me purpose and kept me focused on my own power as a person. You will never seek validation of anyone else but your work will speak for you. I think it’s great that the new generation has such entrepreneurial and limitless thinking. I encourage everyone to take a chance on your self, knowing your purpose is really fun. I would say, do something you’re good at, and learn what you’re not. The “know it all” attitude doesn’t work in business, you have to be wanting to learn something every single day and be sure it is of value.

9- What are you most excited about at the moment?
Very excited about an app launch I’m working on right now, a project of e-commerce websites, and expanding into the broadcast world. I can’t say much about any of these projects, but they’re going to create a lot of impact and positive change. We’re working with a lot of international businesses now too, so we’re excited to see where that takes us.
