1- Hello Unique, can you please tell us a bit about you?
I’m a relentless mommy of one, a lover of life and fashion guru. My love for entrepreneurship, started as a passion for leadership when I landed my first hostess position at age 15. I would always find myself in my managers’ office and together, him and I would come up with strategic solutions to improve the customers overall experience. A few months later I became a team leader. Since then I’ve worked as a top sales rep, Marketer, strategic consultant and a business owner, starting and running 2 successful businesses.

2- What are your focus areas and why?
As a 23 yr old female business owner in a very competitive male-dominated industry, I find that adaptation is most crucial to success. You can have a top degree from the worlds most prestigious college, but if you’re slow at adapting to the world around you, you’ll fail. With that being said, my main focuses are staying ahead of competitors, giving millennials a fresh, fun shopping experience while continuing to offer the lowest prices on the latest trends.

3-How do you describe Fashbudget in few words?
Fash Budget is a shopping app that offers millennials of all sizes the trendiest styles at the lowest prices that fit within their personalized budget.

4- Where do you think your work is making an impact?
With the world rapidly changing around us, I think Fash Budget is impacting millennials substantially. I think they appreciate having a fun brand founded by a female millennial who knows what we like, dislike and what our expectations are when shopping.

5- How did you build up an Entrepreneurial spirit, do you believe you were born with it or you developed it?
I certainly think that this is something I was born with. I’ve always been this innovative, over-thinker and learned early on in life that just because something is good doesn’t mean it can’t be great. I don’t settle, I want the best and I think by applying that mindset to my daily life has aided in me becoming this creative, unique person.

6- Tell us about your style?
My style isn’t limited to one fashion sense. On weekdays I find myself more casual, preppy, vintage and tomboy. Where weekends I’m more chic, rocker and boho. Playing dress up is also a huge fav of mine. For instance, sometimes I’d pair a chic top with tomboy’s bottoms and killer heels. I believe every piece of clothing can be turned into a fashion statement as long as you have the right eye for it.

7- Do you think your mindset has anything to do with success?
Our mindset is imperative to our success. Our mind Its sort of like the “cause” and what we gain or lose from that is the “effect”. I don’t limit myself and feel as if I can do anything. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease earlier this year and since then I’ve done twice as much as I’ve ever done in my entire lifetime. On weekends, I’m not partying. I’m at home, working, on my laptop with a pen and paper. If it doesn’t add to my success I don’t entertain it.

8- What are you most excited about at the moment?
At the moment, we’re currently expanding at every angle. We’re a fresh, new company entering a male-dominated industry so that gets me really excited and pumped up!

9- The last word or final thoughts?
Don’t limit yourself! Be consistent, eliminate distraction, write down all of your goals and smash them! I consider us lucky because we have such a greater advantage than our relatives did 50+ years ago. For that reason, there’s no reason why we can’t reach our full potential.
