1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

My name is Wayne T. Jackson and I am the founder and owner of the Impact Television Network. I started the platform with my wife of 37 years and it currently serves as a tool for reaching millions of people. In the past, both of us have served as senior pastors at the Great Faith Ministries in Detroit, Michigan. After a while, we decided to begin our own venture and share our love with the world.

2. Is there a specific audience that you target?

We work with anyone from older generations who carry incredible wisdom to younger men who may have just been released from incarceration. In other words, there is really no specific targeting that we take advantage of. Instead, our entire approach is based on our underlying message. We aim to spread love, faith, and spirituality. Any person that joins us on that course is a byproduct of our love for the Lord. Nevertheless, we genuinely appreciate everyone that ever tuned in to our broadcast and hope that they were helped somehow.

3. What do you think is the best way to learn how to navigate life?

Trial and error. As much as I would love to see everyone succeed at all times, that is just not realistic. Instead, people are often going to fail before they reach their milestones. I advise everyone to not focus on their shortcomings that might have led to a failure. A more lucrative approach is to analyze every situation for tangible lessons. If you do not get an important job promotion, ask yourself what caused such a turn of events. Of course, share as much as you can during your prayers. Talking to a higher power will help ease some of the pain while you slowly lift yourself up.

4. Many people often connect Wayne T. Jackson with meditation and praying. How do you feel about this? Does it portray what you preach accurately?

I certainly think so. There is likely no way to experience the type of uplifting and gratitude as the one that comes from a powerful prayer. It allows you to step outside of your physical form and look at life from another perspective. This approach helps heal a broken mind as you prepare to take action on your upcoming journey. Although meditation achieves a lot of similar effects, it is more focused on the body. It helps people relax and release tension that may be limiting their full potential.

I think that the combination of both is the best way to reach mental prosperity. Nevertheless, if you can only focus on one, I would begin with praying as a way of strengthening your spirit.

5. What do you think is the most important aspect of life that preserves positivity?

Family. Spending time with the loved ones is the easiest way to forget about minor issues. People frequently succumb to stress due to problems that are borderline irrelevant. After a while, one’s inner drive may be completely futile as their spirit becomes broken from constant fighting. In order to avoid such outcomes, I advise focusing on your family and spending as much time with them as possible.

6. What are some of the roles that religion and faith play in everyone’s lives?

I would say that humility, accountability, and responsibility are the main three. When you accept that there is more going on in the world, you are made humble by the discovery. After all, it is hard to glorify one’s personal achievements when looking at everything that God created. Then, you also start experiencing the type of accountability the likes of which are hardly seen elsewhere.

Meaning, you become very observant of all of your actions as they may be questioned one day. Things that seldom came to your mind start appearing and you begin looking for ways to be better.

Lastly, accepting faith and religion brings an entirely new level of responsibility. Do not get me wrong, all of us in this world is responsible for someone or something. With faith, however, you become responsible for all forms of life on this planet.
