1- Hello Glenn, can you please tell us a bit about you?

I am a family man and an Entrepreneur based in greater London. I am running one of the UK’s fastest-growing E-commerce logistics companies with plans to expand. I am an expert in supply chain and e-commerce logistics, business planning and international trade.

2- What are your focus areas and why?

We focus on empowering E-commerce companies to sell their goods around the world. We don’t look at borders as obstacles we look at every market as an opportunity. The worldwide philosophy is if you can sell your goods there, we can take them there for you.

3- How would you describe “UK WWL” in a few words?

A family within a family. UK WWL is run by myself but we are part of the worldwide group of companies. We are experts in Logistics but we are also experts in making people’s lives easier and our customers work with us in true partnership.

4- Where do you think your solutions are making an impact?

Around the world… I think we are going toe to toe with the big boys in this world of logistics and because we are customer focussed we are winning out most of the time.

5- What does “E-Commerce Logistics” really mean to you?

Good question, well for me we have been seeing a massive move away from traditional bricks and mortar supply chains for the last 10 years. It’s nothing new anymore to expect that goods are with customers the next day and always ready for purchase. This sets a bigger onus on the logistics companies involved to manage the supply chains with less room for delays and no room for mistakes.

6- Has e-commerce changed the way we do logistics and shipping?

Yes for sure as I said, it changed everything from start to finish. The demands of companies like mine are increasing day by day.

7- What advice would you give to young people just starting out as online business owners and hoping to make it?

Make Great Brands, get great products, and sell a solution. Don’t be afraid to get into new markets. Ask questions and push the boundaries. Your first success will be your last unless you keep growing. Be conscious of the market ceiling in every market. And of course, get a great logistics partner. ?

8- Where do you see “UK WWL” in the next 5 years?

By 2025 I expect us to have 4 offices around the Uk and in Ireland in strategic locations with a turnover of over 80 mil GBP.

9- And what are you most excited about at the moment?

Challenging the conventional “forwarding” and logistics stereotypes. Flushing out the negative connotations that come with old school freight forwarding and empowering and inspiring the next generation through our apprentice scheme. Building a great company to help make good people which makes at least our little part of the world that little bit better.

10- The last word or final thoughts?

If you are thinking of taking your company to the next level or even if you want to get a company running. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and take on a mentor. People like helping people and those that truly enjoy helping others usually thrive.
